Hi everyone!!! Hope your nights going well. Here's all my finished projects. For as long as they took it doesn't feel like much.

These are prior to getting the resin treatment.

The cat earrings bead variations I'm making for Halloween. Their little tails dangle!

The crow. Halloween earring as well.

Work people.

5 fun color variation cat magnets

I decided to try and do a "all in one sitting" painting. It felt good so far but I figured with embarrising pictures online for other to see, the flaws will stand out...and they definantly do.

Glad it'll be there for work tomorrow. Pthalo blue gets on everything..

I've been working late trying to get what I said done..done. I didn't get as far as I wanted but still quite a bit. Here are the finished pages, I'm baking them now after 2 grueling hours of cutting them out. I'll also slap resin on them and show you the finished product tomorrow. I'm registering for Apple days in Hamiliton Montana in a booth with my friend Opal. I'm going to be a first time booth seller and I'm very nervous.

Okay here we go! Got 2 worker magnets done, Kristy Starks and Linda... I guess I don't know her last name, she doesn't work as often as the rest.

Hey Good evening !

Yey I think I'm out of my artist funk I was in the past two days. I think the main thing was the pressure to do the work people now that they helped me buy a new art program (which I love!!) I want to depict them right and how they are and trying to do so seems a lot harder. Plus I could pick and choose people who had the most signature features and just do them. I guess anyways it's good practice.

I just decided to draw someone and if it didn't seem right I could start over and over. I dunno why I'm scared of failing the first time I try something. I guess though I'm getting better. I had good luck today and sketched about 5 people.

Heres two of them, Fred Lerch and Bronwyn Eck-

This was the initial sketch

Then flipped and decided exactly what they were doing

and the finished. Fred has to  drink tea in the mornings at work before he'll touch coffee. one morning he seemed lost because he left his tea at home and couldn't drink his coffee because of it. Patti found him some tea bags stashed away and Fred was happy.

I also after work was able to visit reef Missoula and buy a hammer coral and a peppermint shrimp. I have aiptasia (an invasive anemone that stings everything around it) and peppermint shrimp like to pick them clean off the rock.  Heres the hammer coral, one of the sexy shrimp have already claimed home to it. <3

and the peppermint shrimp

I thought this picture was neat of the Button polyps

Tommorow I am going with my friend  to make bath salts (not the illegial kind lol) but when I get home I plan on finishing 2 m ore people plus 4 new "types" of animal earrings. It'll be later but i'll get to them.

This is one I finished for the most part last year, but I added some touch ups to it. It's of  Sailor Jupiter from an anime called sailor moon. Again I'm still in artistic burnout I'm not doing anything major until it passes. But if I can give anyone a tip if you are crashed in the creativity department it's a great time to add simple touch ups to old paintings are try and fix easy mistakes that you may of bypassed before. It makes it feel like you finished a painting and I kinda feel more on the mend.

What do you guys think I should do?
a- Keep working on Earrings and magnets
b- Keep oil painting in my typical style (heavy black outlines and bright colors)
c- Attempt something new and uncomfortable (any suggestions?)

Bleh,  Kinda feeling artistic burnout. I've made a lot of earring sets but I'm sure everyone'

s uninterested to see them. This is my start to the 2nd 12 by 12 in my farm series. The silos look weird to me, I've redone them 3 times now and I can't pin point what's weird about them can anyone?
I wasn't going to post but I'm glad I did just looking at it now on a "smaller" distant image is helping me to see what I need to fix.

So the main thing I was working on didn't work so well. oI ordered some mini drills in order to drill through the resin so I could add those loop things to make the earring dangle. I managed to get one to work (out of 30...sigh)  and here it is. A lil' dangly fox earring. It's preety darn cute just a pain to make. The resin fill up the holes. I also decided my ear wasn't sexy enough to show photos of so I found a sexy one online.

But here is all my earring that I have after making some sets, ready to go for sell when it happens.

and here is my four work friend magnets.

annnnnnd if anyone is interested in buying my earring I do have them up for sell on Ebay

Just saying if your interested.

A nice story

This is such a nice story- Remember me saying I was going to take a break from my co worker magnets I've been making? Well I was in the process of making earring on my Corel 9 (from 2004 so old!) program and it crashed. When I tried to reload the disk the disk was ruined from some past antics of mine. So well no more online. I mentioned it at work the next day when someone asked "when you going to do mine?" I explained that my program crashed and it would be a while since the program is over 100.00. Nex thing I know they've got a collection jar at the front OR desk and everyones chipping in to get me money for a new program. I got the money to buy corel painter 2015 in 2 days. it was so sweet of my co-workers to do that. So I'm back on my magnets and earrings, i'll hold off on the other oils for a while till I get a nice chunk of magnets done.

I spent most the night trying to get Corel 12015 compatable with my Wacom tablet then another chunk getting familiar. The lines are so smooth, I'm happy with it so far. But it is still new enough that I feel like I've taken a few steps back on my art progress so these pictures are a tad...choppy? I dunno, tomorrow i'll get more made , baked, and resined. By Sunday you'll see the finished product.

Finished (for the most part once it's dry i'll add a few more things and then glaze it) Egin Mercantile store. The part i'm happiest with is the shadows and the lights on the sidewalk. I used Ultramarine blue, burnt sienna, perm rose, tit white and a bit cad red light for the shadow. Then for the light was white, ultra marine blue, burnt sienna, cad red light, and cad yellow.

This was the reference photo..

Hi everyone!

After work I spent about 3 hours getting this far. I really like the bricks and the "white part of the building" Tommorow after the paint has a chance to get a bit more tacky, i'll probably finish it . Since I have three more to go I want these to be fairly quick paintings.

Tuesday, July 19, 2016

I made way to much of the sky color so I did all four paintings and a random painting that I stated but not sure if i'm going to finish.  I used Maganese Blue, titanium white and the base. The Higher and darker the sky I added a bit of perm rose. The Lower and lighter the sky was, I added a bit of cadmium yellow.

Sorry my fish tank glowed funny on this one.. What? you didn't know I had a fish tank... Aso using those plastic file folders seperater is an aweseome way to store lots of wet paintings in a small space.

Can you spot the sexy little shrimps?

Anyways and the sad cat drawing that got a sky makeover.

p.s. i wanna apologize if someone is commenting on the blog. I can't seem to read any. Google Comments is showing I have  comments for my blog but I can't for the life of me figure out how to view them.

Weeeeeeeeee! I'm done with my Oil Painting (Or as done as I will be considering it's a gag gift for someone) The main colors I used Titanium White, Magnese blue, Ultramarine Blue, Cad yellow light, Yellow Orche, Cad red light, perm rose, Burn Sienna and naples yellow. It's 16x20.

These are my references I used.
