Colors I used: Ultramarine, lemon, rose, burnt sienna, tit white.

This one I have worked on before, when I show finished i'll post the before and after. Towards the end when I thought I was almost done,  the head manifested into something weird looking. After much tweaking I

got this.. which isn't perfect but looks better I think. The eyes seem weird, but i can figure a way around it.

Again, ill wait for it to dry before I do anymore on it.

I'm feeling like this one is done. I finished outlines, touched up the white. Colors used are Pthalo, Alazarian, Lemon, tit white, Burnt Sienna.

I think i'm as far as I want to go with the dalmatian at this moment. I need to add more light to the container bricks he's laying in. Add a bit of yellow to his pelt. Work on ball. Here is a before and after.

annnddd this is the point i'm done for tonight. Decided Dalmatian needed more spots. I decided to paint the grass dark, let it dry then and the brighter colors you see in the progress prior to this one. I usually try to paint shadows as i'm painting the highlights but stuff gets mucked. So this is a test try for me.

Oomph sorry for missing yesterday. To sunburned and tired from having fun. Now i'm home and ready to keep painting. My dalmation was dry so decided to work on him. This is progress so far on the fence.

Colors used were Pthalo, Burnt Sienna,Yellow Orchre, tit white. This is my Pallete smoosh.

I'm not going to be able to post tommorow going to a amusment park =D But i'll give you two diffrent projects tonight.

More rabbits colored on watership down. Kehaar needs alot more worh (the seagull) and again i'm saving up for a better camera. Soon pictures will be better!

This is one I did a while back for my friend Robert. One day I was walking out of work and he came up real friendly chatting. Long story Short I thought he was homeless, invited him to Christmas dinner at work, he showed up and found out he wasn't. After a very embarressed awkard apology he gave me a novel he had published and I painted this for him.

Here is Another cat in a tree. I really like how the trunk turned out. Once I buy a better camera hopefully the colors will be as brilliant as they are in real life. Anyone know if a Canon Rebel 5 would be a good choice?

If you look at the picture below and then find my feet you can see how this painting is suppose to be viewed, haha.

Need some more outlining, and again the trunks colors are not coming out as bright as they could be due to the camera..

The colors used were Prussian Blue, cad yellow, rose, sienna, tit. The spots on the trunk were made by painting in thick and wiping away to leave a stain bordered by the thicker applied colors.

It's hard working 10 hour shifts and coming home, bypassing everything else you need to do (hullo weeds!) and trying to paint, specially when your not feeling it. A before and after. I just worked on wood. I can do wood okay enough but it takes me three or four sessions.  and added yellow to the dog which you can't see from my crappy camera.

Just a quick painting tonight. The black fence in background will eventually be reddish brown and lighter. It'll be a wood fence. More shadow and simple detail on the dalmation bricks and grass.

After and Before shot of trout women which I'm calling her Amanda. Um it was alot of work to change faces. I'm not sure I really like it better.. At least the head isn't huge. I prefer the hardened facial features as opposed to the more delicate ones. But I still have my favorite outliner I can tweak when that time comes. and yes still going to fix boob hair. Should I cover them or leave them open?

This is my process to fix the face in a few steps.
Im sure there is easier ways but I wasn't feeling it, but needed to do it.
Shrunk Head

The features were confusing me so I blacked them out a bit. Can you see my friend, who wants nothing to do with me, in the background?

Yikes, try again

Better but fish lips D=
Lips are very hard for me..

Closer

I'm tired though. it's hard to feel like you just wasted 2 hours on something that seemed simple enough and still not be happy with the results. I guess it's just practice, practice and force yourselves to think things through.

I decided to hunker down and finish one completely today to see how long a rough painting would be. 1 1/2 hours to get this. It's to the point I can't make any more outlines without the lights showing through.  Colors used are Phthalo, lemon,Rose, tit, sienna. Finish this in a few days when the paints have dried.

and worked a little bit on Watership down. Basically outlined the rabbits. Started the clouds which I mixed Cerc/Cobalt/rose/cadlemon/titwhite. I think the shadows are a little to red. I'll wait till it dries to paint them more white. I think I am done for tonight painting.

I really want to fix trout girl but the day seems to be getting busy. I'll try later when I get off to work on her again and post more pictures. In the mean time here's one I did a while back. Painting flesh is hard...

Huzzah!

The more I worked on this today the more I realized how much is wrong with it. Maybe to much It can't be repaired..

This poor girls head is HUGE compared to her body. Which I think the pink on her hipbone area isn't helping. I like her bottom half and don't want to change that part, if I do it'll have to be the head. *oomph* a lot of work. I liked how the water turned out and the grass. I removed the stems she was holding it looked to gooney. As soon as I did that I realized the misproportions. and with her boobs to. So much work.
